At the heart of this system is the PowerVault—a top-quality British brand that our client specifically chose for its impressive specifications and reliability as well as it’s asthetic appearance. This 6kW hybrid inverter, paired with a 20kWh storage battery, not only delivers high performance but also offers energy security with its EPS back-up facility. In the event of a power outage, the PowerVault can seamlessly supply backup power directly from the storage battery, ensuring that critical appliances remain powered even when the grid is down.
To maximize energy efficiency, we’ve incorporated Tigo Power Optimisers, which allow for module-level monitoring and enhance system safety by incorporating a rapid shutdown in the event of any problems with the solar panels. The optimisers also help mitigate any shading issues that may occur, ensuring that every panel is performing at its best.. The Powervault system is controlled by an easy to use api. The tigo optimisers can be viewed by the Tigo smart app which allows you to see the performance of each individual panel.
We’ve also taken extra care by installing bird blockers around the system, which prevents birds from nesting under the panels, keeping the system in excellent condition and protecting your investment for years to come.
Connected to Octopus Energy, this installation takes advantage of their fantastic nighttime tariff. This means the storage battery can charge during off-peak hours when electricity is cheaper, and then supply power during the day when your solar panels are generating energy.
